Superstore Renovation
Morrisons operates over 490 supermarkets across England, Scotland, and Wales, continually evolving to meet customer needs through innovative store layouts and improved in-store experiences. The Aberdeen store required a full refurbishment as part of the retailer’s national rollout of new concepts and design enhancements. The project involved modernising customer areas and upgrading mechanical and electrical systems to support new operational requirements.

Viridor GRREC
This project supports Viridor’s Glasgow Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre (GRREC) – a state-of-the-art residual waste treatment facility. Fully operational since January 2019, the plant generates enough energy to power 26,000 households, provide heat for 8,000 homes, and deliver annual carbon savings of approximately 90,000 tonnes of CO₂. The scale and complexity of the site demand continuous monitoring, maintenance, and environmental management to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Viridor Boiler Drum Replacement Project
During the scheduled outage at Viridor GRREC (Glasgow Recycling & Renewable Energy Centre) , SOLIS Group played a key role in supporting the removal of a boiler drum from the RDF bunker within the plant. Due to the complexity of the operation and the inability to dismantle the boiler drum within the plant, the only viable solution was a top-down extraction and installation. Our team worked tirelessly around the clock, providing comprehensive support across all aspects of the project including project management, scaffold system installation, traffic management, and ground support.
