SOLIS Group: Driving a Circular Economy and Sustainable Facility Management
At SOLIS Group, our circular economy model focuses on redesigning and restructuring Product-Service-Systems (PSS) from the ground up, ensuring long-term business viability and enhanced market competitiveness. By prioritising renewable, recyclable, and biodegradable resource inputs, we create sustainable production and consumption systems that reduce waste and environmental impact.
Provide and Perform – Comprehensive Facility Management Services
Our facility management services deliver complete peace of mind, offering a wrap-around solution to maintain every aspect of your business operations. We are committed to lowering emissions and reducing carbon footprint across all activities. Since approximately 80% of our carbon footprint comes from the products and resources we produce, consume, and dispose of, adopting a circular economy approach allows SOLIS Group to actively work towards zero waste and a more sustainable future.
Maximising Product Value Through Circular Economy and Community Impact
At SOLIS Group, our business model is focused on maximising product value and extending product life. By prioritising durability, repairability, upgradability, and comprehensive service, we reduce end-user consumption and support a non-consumerist approach. Through Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), we help customers lower costs while extending the lifespan of equipment, reducing the need for frequent replacements, and minimising waste.
Circular Economy in ActionAs part of our circular economy model, SOLIS Group actively reuses materials from previous projects. Off-cuts from installations are stored for future use, reducing waste and resource consumption. Excess items, such as office furniture, chairs, and electronics, are donated to local charities, training academies, and start-ups instead of going to landfill.

First Steps Future Training, Bridgeton:
We partnered with First Steps Future Training to repurpose surplus furniture. Trainees work on upcycling and refurbishment projects, gaining hands-on experience while donating completed items to local charities, nursing homes, and nurseries. -
FARE Scotland, Central Scotland:
FARE Scotland, a voluntary organisation supporting disadvantaged communities, received 25 boardroom chairs from SOLIS. These chairs enable them to expand employability courses for young people and parents, increasing participation and learning opportunities. -
Royston Youth Action, G21 2BS:
A 52-inch plasma TV with a minor pixel issue was donated to Royston Youth Action. The TV is now being used for after-school activities, providing engagement opportunities for local youth. -
Start-Up Coffee Shop, Glasgow:
Remaining boardroom chairs were donated to a start-up coffee shop, helping the entrepreneur reduce start-up costs while supporting local business growth. -
Gas Certification Company Limited:
Following an air conditioning installation for a premium retailer, obsolete units were donated to Gas Certification Company Limited. These units provide hands-on training for future engineers, contributing to industry skill development and sustainable reuse of equipment.
Through initiatives like Planned Preventive Maintenance, material reuse, and equipment donation, SOLIS Group actively reduces carbon footprint, promotes zero-waste practices, and supports community development. By integrating circular economy principles into our operations, we create value not just for our clients but for the environment and local communities.
