River Gardens

In January 2021 the Scottish Government announced a National Mission to reduce Scotland’s unacceptable drug death rates. River Garden Auchincruive project was developed to give people the chance to turn their lives around. SOLIS have been appointed as mechanical contractor for the refurbishment project by ISG.
Challenge
River Gardens will become a residential rehabilitation centre and the residents will live on-site during their recovery. All the facilities need to be in place for them move into including heating, plumbing, ventilation and thermal insulation.
Solution
For phase 1 of River Gardens SOLIS installing a Daikin Source Heat Pump supplying 14 Gallant Plus radiators, plumbing and installation of 6 WC’s (water closets) with WHB’s (wash hand basin) as well as an accessible WC with WHB. Plumbing of the commercial kitchen that had been installed along with void ceiling to store cables and pipes without taking any the clean finish of the kitchen.
Impact
Phase 1 successfully opened and the first of many residents have moved into River Gardens to start their rehabilitation process.
Services
The main services that we supported River Gardens with was mechanical installation, maintenance and control of systems such as air conditioning, heating, ventilation and plumbing.
