Our client is a major British multinational retailer with headquarters in London that specialises in selling clothing, beauty products, home products and food products. Our client currently has 959 stores across the UK, including 615 that only sell food products.
Challenge
Our client required an installation of Potterton Sirius 90-WH boiler at their location in Formby within the plant room. The room was inspected to make sure that there was adequate space for both boilers, ensuring proper ventilation and accessibility.
Solution
The boilers were positioned side by side maintaining the recommended clearances from walls and other equipment. Proper alignment with the gas supply and flue outlets was ensured. Gas supply pipes were connected to each boiler using approved fittings, pressure tests were conducted to verify the integrity of the gas connections.
Impact
The installation of the Potterton Sirius 90-WH boilers was successfully completed, meeting safety standards and ensuring reliable heating for the facility.
