Marks & Spencer is a leading British multinational retailer headquartered in London, specialising in clothing, beauty, home, and food products. With over 950 stores across the UK, including 615 food-only outlets, M&S continues to uphold its reputation for quality and reliability.
At the Formby location, the client required the installation of a Potterton Sirius 90-WH boiler within the existing plant room to enhance heating reliability and system efficiency.
DELIVERY
Prior to installation, SOLIS carried out a comprehensive site inspection to confirm sufficient space, ventilation, and access for the new equipment.
The installation process included:

Positioning two Potterton Sirius 90-WH boilers side by side, ensuring correct alignment and recommended clearances from walls and adjacent plant.

Connection of gas supply lines using approved fittings and compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

Flue alignment and integration, guaranteeing optimal ventilation and exhaust flow.

Pressure testing to verify the integrity and safety of all gas connections prior to commissioning.
All works were completed under strict health and safety supervision and in coordination with store management to minimise disruption to daily operations.

The installation was completed on schedule and to the highest safety standards, providing the store with a reliable, efficient, and compliant heating system.
