We support City FM on their national M&S contract. To date we have provided a 360-degree Facilities Management service encompassing hard and soft facilities. Reactive works by nature are a 24/7 operation and we run shift patterns with our engineers in order to facilitate 365 days a year.
Challenge
We support City FM on their M&S account, the regions we cover are classed as The North. This encompasses the whole of Scotland, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and Cumbria. Many stores are 24-hour operations and due the nature of reactive works we must be ready to attend any store within our remit upon the agreed timeframes. We just deploy multi-skilled engineers as there is varying degree of issues, most of which require us to do an initial fault finding exercise. We provide comprehensive solutions to the faults we find and can often propose new designs as well as other solutions.
Solution
Having a plethora of technicians and engineers that are on call 24/7. Our help desk also operates 24/7 and fault finding questionnaires asked by our help desk staff assist our engineers in diagnosing problems prior to arrival. Our project management team specialise in HVAC and Electrical, which provides further assistance to our engineers should they require technical support.
Impact
The impact is we have a 95% callout rate and 95.4 % on all engineers completing the M&S Simple Compliance Health & Safety Asbestos course before entering a store.
