About the Role
As part of our continued growth, SOLIS Group is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Plumber to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key role in delivering a responsive, resident-focused maintenance service. The position is primarily reactive and planned maintenance, working within social housing and FM environments where professionalism, communication, and first-time fixes matter. You will be responsible for attending day-to-day repairs, fault finding, and minor installations while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Scottish regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive plumbing repairs in occupied domestic properties
- Deliver planned maintenance works across social housing and FM sites
- Fault finding and repair of hot & cold-water systems
- Repairs and replacement of sanitary ware, pipework, valves, traps, and fittings
- Minor plumbing installations and upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with Water Regulations, and Health & Safety requirements
- Complete job reports, certificates, and handheld documentation accurately
- Provide a professional, respectful service to residents, clients, and colleagues
- Work independently and as part of a wider FM team
Key Requirements
- Qualified Plumber (SVQ / NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repairs
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations
- Ability to work in occupied properties with a customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
